The plaintiff in error was charged in nine counts of uttering forged payroll checks in September, October and November of 1957. He was found guilty by a jury under sec. 943.39(2), Stats., and was sentenced by the court on April 10, 1958, on each of the first eight counts to concurrent and indeterminate terms of not more than seven years and on the ninth court to a consecutive term of not more than five years at the State prison in Waupun.
